I'm the same way. It's going to be about mid-June before my internal clock finally compensates. And it's worse now that I'm farther north for some reason. In Florida, it was less of a problem for me.

I'd also add, especially in this climate. Parents don't trust their kids to not get abducted, so kids pretty much don't walk to school anymore at all.
Seriously, though, where I live, only the kids who live within a block of school walk at all.
