If you haven't already, point that browser of yours to Dreams of Tomorrow for Elizabeth Stanway's TP choose your own adventure story. There are a few more grammatical errors than I would normally find acceptable in a story, but the whole thing is so clever that I'm willing to forgive.

The problem is even with whole team of beta readers, it's still impossible to hit each and every thread.

We'll probably be finding errors in it for a couple months if the whole list looks for it.

But it's a fun, ambitious story, and I second the recommendation.

This has nothing to do with either of your comments (though I do hate grammatical errors), but what do you two think the chances are of a new TP series being made? I'm skeptical, but I'd be mad thrilled, and I'd fly somewhere to be an extra!

Personally, I think the chances are slim to none.

But ... that didn't stop it from happening before. Twice, if you count the BF stories as a separate series.

As we discovered at the Dinner, the TP is a series that resonates with its viewers for a lifetime. On the one hand, the actors were all surprised that we were there to celebrate 30 years; OTOH, none of them were surprised with why.

We're sitting in the middle of a massive nostalgia craze. The people who watched the TP in 1973 are all old enough (or getting old enough) to be in a position to do something about reacquiring that show they used to watch as a child. The timing couldn't be more right.

I hope it happens. I hope they need a script coordinator; I'm perfectly willing to do grunt work :) And I sincerely hope that it stays British. I'd hate to see the TP made palatable for Hollywood.

One of my goals for the lists has always been to remember the TP back into existence. ::crosses fingers::
