3 down and when did the sun go out?

Got an email today with three Original Series TP stories for the archives. That makes a field of 4 OS stories for the upcoming awards. Quite sad, really. But, it does mean that only 7 more stories need to be posted this summer to make me really happy.

Or maybe I should up that. Having to boot someone from TPDIS--albeit only the second ban in almost eight years--really put a damper on the fun.

Also got a really bizarre email from someone who wanted to know if the GF page was affiliated with the real Galactic Federation, which, he claims, returned to this solar system fairly recently after a long absence. They had to restart our sun in 1997. Apparently I've been missing a lot more exitement that I ever knew. And, no, I will not be starting a list for the real Galactic Federation, eve tho this person did ask nicely.

Oddly enough the sun went out the year you graduated. I think we were both to busy to notice the sun going out.

If they can restart the sun, they surely can run their own mailing list.

I'd accept that reasoning, except that I didn't graduate in '97 from anywhere. My Purdue graduation was in '96. 1997 was largely spent haunting coffeeshops and writing fanfic. Which, okay, meant that I spent most of my life inside, so I suppose it's conceivable that I'd fail to notice the sun going out.

...checked TIM's logs. There's no record of such a thing. :)

Guess, like the channel, the web site occasionally picks up a couple of crackpots.

Or we know where Joss's extra pixie stix stash went now that he's only down to one show. (And a Firefly movie script-- yay!)
