8 lbs 0 ounces, 22 inches long


Mom and baby are home as of this afternoon and doing well.

A thousand congratulations to you both. Your lives just got busier, more hectic and have changed dramatically. From here on out it will be a wild, crazy rollercoaster ride full of tears and laughter. Sometimes it will be horribly frightening and confusing, and sometimes it will fill you up so much that you will absolutely feel like you are going to burst from happiness. But no matter what happens, it will be a ride unlike any other that you have ever been on and you will never, ever want to get off or trade it for anything else in the world.

Special note to Katie: Welcome to the world, little one. It's a great big scary place but you've two parents who love you and adore you and will do anything to keep you safe and make you happy. May your star rise to the highest of heights and may your future be ever so bright.
