Re: The Galacticfed site

I decided to go with pair because of their refugee offer that waves setup costs if you're bringing the domain from another host.

So I got almost all of the files reuploaded on to pair, and I have no problems at all accessing the new galacticfed.com from my work computer.

However, I can't access it from home. I get the standard "This page cannot be displayed" screen.

What really obvious thing am I missing?

Help.

Have you done a forced refresh? Held down control while pressing the reload button?

I have now.

No change.

...that your work connection to the internet is simply having a faster DNS propagation than your home ISP. Some take longer than others to remap the site. Your work provider is using the new IP address for pair for your domain, the old one is still mapping it to your old host.

If this persists in a few days, then worry. :)

This makes the most sense, so I'm going to go with this theory until I locate the demons that live in my computer and can find the proper translation of the spell to send them back to the hell dimension from whence they came.

I'd check the works of Julia Child. She's got some good ones in her later volumes.

ROFL

Good idea. I was concentrating all my efforts on "The Joy of Cooking." My mistake.

LOL.

Um, maybe you need to lay off the season 2 Buffy DVDs just a little bit? :)
