Let's blame it on the plethora of papers I have to read; I've been on a rather inexplicable Invisible Man kick these last few days. I never quite got into the show when it was first on, which means I only taped the first few episodes, and I missed the second season altogether. So, after rewatching those few eps, I went in search of fanfic.

I won't bore you with the details of trying to find stories worth reading.

The end result is, I did: The Invisible Man Virtual Season 3. I've only read the first two stories so far. They were worth it, and I've downloaded stories three and four to take with me as I head off to visit my mother this week.

I like some virtual seasons. There are a couple of Buffy ones that are well done. There's one I was really impressed with and then, they did this whole icksome Buffy/Giles incestuous like thing and I couldn't handle it anymore.

Many times I've often considered doing a TP one, but with all the things I have on backburner, I'm thinking it would be a very bad idea.

I like some virtual seasons, too. Usually they're written very lazily and/or introduce Mary Sue right away, so I tend to fear VS's now. The first thing that stood out to me about the I-Man VS is that there're no new recurring characters introduced in the first two episodes. Should the writers choose to add one or more now, I'll be more willing to accept them.

Besides this one and Starborn, the only other good VS I've seen is the Forever Knight VS4. There's a Sliders VS6 I've got linked because it looks promising, but I haven't had a chance to read any of the stories.

I'm not sure if a TP VS would go over. Darryl tried to do one a few years ago and it just didn't gel. I think we're all having more fun playing in our private VS's, considering that many of the NSTP fanfic writers are writing post Living Stones.
