I'm been writing at what, for me, is a breakneck speed. 1800 words today, which only serves to slightly reduce how far behind I am. Still not plot yet, and I'm rapidly approaching the point where backstory isn't going to cut it. But I'm writing, and I've written a lot more than in recent years.
