I'm back from Atlanta. That was a long trip, and we were only gone for a week. One thing I will never understand is people who like to take long drives. You want to drive, go ahead and drive. I'll meet you at the airport.

The highlight of the trip was lunch with Gail O'Neill from Mission: Organization. Wonderful woman, as nice as can be, and the absolute perfect person to host the show. Her house is spotless.

The lowpoint of the trip was the constant, completely unsubtle suggestions that it's long past time for me to produce a child. And they call me selfish.

On the drive down, DH and I stopped and had dinner with Brian and his wife Amy, originally mentioned in this entry. That went very, very well. Perhaps we've made a new couple-friend. Too bad they live three hours away. I'd like to be friends with someone whom I can see without one or more of us having to take vacation time.

Got the gas line installed today. Possibly we'll have heat this winter. Made a dentist appoinment. Got my copy of Sliders seasons 1 & 2. The pilot is so good. Then it's like they went off and made some other show that had vaguely heard of the pilot.

Happy belated birthday to thedrkraven. You're 30, you old man. :-pppppp

I would have posted on your birthday, but I was stuck in a black car with no air conditioning for 14 hours with my mother and husband. If that won't exonerate me, I don't know what will. :)

Now to post a drabble that happened . . . possibly in Tennessee.
