In a moment of extreme weakness brought about by spending far too much time at work, I finally succumbed to sage_theory pressure to get an LJ. I know someone is going to regret this.

This can only mean that the fad is over.

For those wondering where I've gone, this is the last week of school. Somehow this means that I've had more calls to sub than in the last month. I'm scheduled to work every day this week. I also have a full time second-shift job. Right now I'm home about 6 hours a day, and I spend 5.75 of that unconscious. Fortunately, there's ample time to do email stuff while supervising the desktop publishing class. :)

Lots of stuff going on, but it seems most appropriate to dedicate my first entry to my new niece. She arrived May 14th. I haven't met her yet. With any luck, I'll meet her before she starts Kindergarten.

As a babyshower present I gave her a copy of Peter Pan, my favorite childhood book (for obvious reasons). This is the dedication I meant to write.
